PDF Archive attachments are excluded from the eSign Signature checksum. So the addition of the PDF file to the Jira issue will not invalidate captured signatures.
Embedded Images
Images embedded in the Description field (and custom wiki formatted fields) will be rendered into the PDF Signature archive. Maximum file size is 1MB. Images that are larger than this will be displayed as a thumbnail.
