Each revision of a document creates a new page in Confluence. So traditional document links in Confluence can work but will remain pinned to the specific revision.

If you need to link to the Latest revision of a document we recommend using the eSign Document Link macro.

This macro will generate a link that takes users to the latest active revision of a document. This link can work from any page in Confluence, including within approved and controlled eSign Document pages.

Step #1. Add the macro to any editable page.

Step #2: Configure the Macro by Searching for the Document or manually entering the Document ID and a link name.

Step #3: Click the link.

On access, users will be directed to the latest active revision (or the working copy if no link).
